All around the world, vulnerable households were dealt a hard blow by the socioeconomic impact of the global lockdown. Their inability to continue their daily source of income pushed many of these families further down the poverty line.

Their children faced the increased risk of hunger and malnutrition. The InnerCity Mission and Partners responded swiftly by providing emergency food supplies to affected households in over 25 countries.

The InnerCity Mission’s Emergency Food Response addresses the impact the global lockdown had on daily wage earners whose means of livelihood were disrupted. Vulnerable households lost their sources of income and are still struggling to recover from the effects of the lockdown.
